Buffett at His Best!!
R&B Block Party shows, after over twenty years of seeing them, just keep getting better, honestly. The night was magical, full of fun, excitement, and entertainment from the parties in the parking lot that started as early at 9:00am, until the last note of the second encore solo, with the best fans any artist could possibly have. Please do not let another year go by without the experience of seeing a live R&B Block Party show. It is something that should be experienced at least once in everyone's lifetime. I was actually very impressed with the sound quality and seating arrangements at the Chicago venue this year, having seen three R&B Block Party shows at three different venues in Chicago and many others around the country. The parking was not bad either, with the parking lot crew attempting to cram everyone in very tightly at first, leaving little room for tailgating, tents, tiki bars, palm trees, swimming pools, etc. However, after they moved on down the aisle, most everyone moved their vehicles just a little to make more room for the fun, still leaving room for exits as needed. This year, we were also able to meet four Coral Reefer Band members signing autographs for charity in the parking lot (Nadirah was awesome!). How cool is that? Thank you, Chicagoland Parrot Head Club - Liked your t-shirt too, Mr. President! Bottom line - R&B Block Party AT ITS BEST - EXCELLENT SHOW - EXCELLENT CROWD - EXCELLENT VENUE! Lets do it again next year!
